Summary

Research interests center around geriatric psychiatry: decisional capacity and informed consent, quality of life in the elderly and oldest old, electroconvulsive therapy in the elderly and high-risk patients, geriatric kidney transplant, geriatric personality disorders, neuropsychiatry, geropsychiatric inpatient issues, and ethical aspects of pharmacogenetic testing. I am also interested in innovations in medical education.
