Postdoctoral Position - Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Summary

Investigator: Leif Bergsagel, M.D. Professor

A newly funded R01 grant, located at Mayo Clinic Arizona ("Molecular Pathogenesis of Multiple Myeloma") requires a motivated postdoctoral scientist to study the functional consequences of the activation of critical pathways we have identified frequently mutated (e.g., NFKB, histone methylation) in human and murine myeloma. Relevant studies from the Bergsagel lab include Keats et al, Cancer Cell 2007 12(2) 131-44 and Chesi et al, Cancer Cell 2008 13(2) 167-80.
