OVERVIEW

Mayo Research Fellows' Association is dedicated to creating an interdisciplinary network of research scientists to provide leadership and professional development for emerging scientists at Mayo Clinic. Our primary goals are to create an environment of collegiality, thereby providing opportunities for mentoring among researchers and fostering the exchange of ideas concerning research, careers in science, and contemporary scientific issues.

MISSION

The mission of the Mayo Research Fellows' Association is to establish and maintain communication and collegiality among current Mayo Research Fellows, Mayo Graduate School students, and other research scientists at Mayo; to provide leadership and professional development for emerging scientists at Mayo Clinic; to serve as an advocate for educational and social concerns of our membership; and to provide a means of communication among our members and Mayo Clinic.

A: MRFA serves to provide communication among Mayo Clinic Researchers, and acts as an advocate for MRFA members. MRFA hosts social and educational activities that are of interest to Researchers.

Q: Is Mayo Research Fellows' Association the same as Mayo Fellows' Association?
A: No. MRFA is affiliated with Mayo Fellows' Association, but is autonomous from the latter group.

Q: Can I join Mayo Research Fellows' Association?
A: Anyone training in Research at Mayo Clinic is eligible for membership in MRFA.
