The Division of Biomedical Informatics provides opportunities for information technology professionals in support of biomedical research. Candidates must have a B.S. degree in computer science or a related field. Proven written and oral communication skills are essential. Providing the ability to tag, categorize, annotate, and classify biomedical knowledge.

Terminology and MetaData Standards
Providing for consistent and sharable data to enhance interpretation and reuse in the research community.

Bioinformatics Training
Related to an understanding of biology and bioinformatics applications within the genomics field.
