InternshipsDepending on needs and funding, we typically have a demand for 1-2 Information Technology interns. The interns help with various projects, including the creation and maintenance of web pages and analysis and processing of data in support of research studies. Other projects assist in research and software development for the processing and markup of unrestricted text of clinical narratives (clinical Natural Language Processing). Past topics have included word sense disambiguation/discrimination, relation discovery, tokenization, sentence boundary identification, acronym and abbreviation detection and disambiguation, term identification and clustering, ontology mapping, and document/diagnosis classification.
