Memory Club

Memory Club is for persons with early memory loss or early stage dementia as well as their care partner. Memory Club is a comprehensive support, education, and peer group that meets for a total of 10 sessions. The mission of the Memory Club is to support and empower individuals and care partners as they deal with early stage Alzheimer’s disease and related memory loss disorders, and to shed light on important issues and challenges as they arise. Memory Club fosters an atmosphere that nurtures new friendships and peer support during and beyond the group experience. Issues and topics addressed in the Memory Club can include: understanding the disease process, emotional and psychological reactions to the diagnosis, adjusting to changes in roles and relationships and practical planning for the future. A pre-program interview is required.
