The Mayo Clinic Rochester Department of Neurology offers a comprehensive educational seminar for Mayo Clinic patients and their families recently impacted by a diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia (LBD) or Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) including Corticobasal Degeneration and Progressive Aphasia. This 8-10 hour educational seminar is completed over 2 sessions, generally several months apart. Session I is intended for persons diagnosed with LBD or FTD along with their caregivers and other family members. Session II is intended for caregivers and families. The program provides families with information, resources, and problem solving skills in a supportive setting with other families dealing with a similar diagnosis.
